How did you tell your parents the first time you were pregnant?

I am married and we have been trying to get pregnant for 1 year. I finally got a positive home pregnancy test. How did you tell your mom the first time you were pregnant? I wanted to do something a little creative. I just noticed it is almost mothers day so I bought a hallmark card that said something about grandma and I thought I would mail it to my parents who live locally with a picture of the test result. Any other ideas?
