When you insert a tampon, do you just feel where the hole is or do you have to look in the mirror or something?

The tampon goes in the hole kind of under your butt. You might want to use a mirror your first few times. You can watch where the blood comes from and then insert it. Try angling the tampon different ways. That helped me. Beat of luck :)
